My current hair routine

Last November, I promised to keep my hair extension free for six months, I obvs didn’t realize how challenging this was going to be otherwise I wouldn’t have put myself up to such a tall order, now I understand why it’s called “the natural hair struggle,” its real!

Like any other tough journey, this too got easier along the way and it was so rewarding for sure. I went from going to the salon twice a week to having a DIY hair routine, from blow outs to protective hair styles that make my hair shine bright like a diamond lol.

Six months down the road and I have developed a relationship with my hair along the lines of respect, love and patience and accepting that it’s different; I took an oath not to compare it to anyone’s hair, [full disclosure-this oath was taken at 3:00am on a Saturday morning in high heels at a cheesy bar still counts]
I put together this video to show you my favorite natural hair style and my basic hair routine, for now [it could change, am somewhat capricious.]
